A blog about our road trips on Route 66, Lincoln Highway, St. Louis, New York, Michigan, etc. (we have been to 37 States, 13 more to visit), about my love of hockey (NHL), football (NFL), coming to America, growing up in Viet Nam, humor that ain't funny and still a lot of ramblings!
It was a nice sunny day last Saturday when I took these photos of the trees blooming. The little tree in our backyard was filled with tiny buds ready to blossom into little red flowers. We noticed that Mel and Marcie were busy taking apart the nest that was in this little tree to build their new home. Great example of reuse and recycle.
My husband complimented me on these photos, especially the one below of the street lamp with reflection of the shadow of the flowers. It is so wonderful to see trees bursting with flowers, fresh green leave and nature comes alive after hiding from the cold winter.
