BACK TO SAN FRANCISCO (NOT REALLY)

No, we did not make another 5,000+ miles road trip back to San Francisco.  I just want to finish sharing photos and stories of the trip we made in July.  To recap, we got to SF on July 4th after spending time in Yosemite and Sequoia N.P.  Then we spent 3 days in SF and it was very enjoyable.

We went on the boat ride under the Golden Gate Bridge and around Alcatraz, “climbed” up and "slide" down the streets, to Fisherman’s Wharf, Pier 39, rode the cable car to Chinatown, Union Square, drove the Mustang down Lombard Street and followed the “Bullit” car chase route.

Back in July 1988, my husband came from Michigan to visit me in NYC, we walked the entire length of the Brooklyn Bridge.  Ralphie even carried me half way across the bridge.  Almost 25 years later, older and 50 lbs extra, we did not attempt to walk across the Golden Gate Bridge!
